At Study Gear, we want you to be completely satisfied with every purchase. If something isn’t right, we make Returns & Exchanges simple, transparent, and hassle-free.

1. Eligibility for Returns

  • Timeframe: Returns are accepted within 30 days of the purchase date.

  • Condition: Items must be unused, in their original packaging, with tags or labels attached.

  • Proof of Purchase: A valid order number or receipt is required.

Non-returnable items:

  • Digital/downloadable products

  • Gift cards

  • Clearance or final-sale items

2. How to Initiate a Return

  1. Contact Us: Email our support team at support@studygear.store with your order number and reason for the return.

  2. Receive Instructions: Our team will provide you with the return shipping address and guidelines.

  3. Send the Item Back: Carefully package the product and ship it as instructed.

  4. Confirmation: Once we receive and inspect your return, you’ll get a confirmation email within 72 hours.

3. Refund Process

  • Inspection: Returned items will be inspected to ensure they meet eligibility criteria.

  • Timeline: Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days after approval.

  • Method: Refunds are issued back to your original payment method.

  • Bank Processing: Depending on your bank/credit card provider, it may take an additional 3–5 business days for funds to appear.

4. Coverage Scenarios

a) Customer Remorse (Changed Mind / Ordered Wrong Item)
  • Responsibility: Customer covers return shipping costs.

  • Refund: We refund the product cost minus original shipping fees.

b) Faulty or Defective Product
  • Evidence: Please send photos/videos of the defect to support@studygear.store.

  • Resolution: We will provide a prepaid return label and issue a full refund or replacement once verified.

c) Package Damaged in Transit
  • Action: Document damage with photos immediately and contact us.

  • Resolution: We will coordinate with the shipping carrier and provide a replacement or full refund.

d) Wrong Size / Wrong Item Received
  • Action: Contact us with details and photos.

  • Resolution: We’ll provide a return label and send the correct item or issue a refund.

5. Exchanges

  • If you would like to exchange an item (for size, color, or product type), please contact us at support@studygear.store.

  • Exchanges are processed after we receive the original item back.

6. Shipping Costs for Returns

  • Customer responsibility: Return shipping costs apply for remorse-based returns.

  • Store responsibility: We cover shipping for defective, damaged, or wrong-item returns.
