Return & Refund Policy

At Study Gear, we want you to be completely happy with your new stationery. If your notebooks aren’t quite what you expected, or that pen doesn’t write exactly how you wanted, we’re here to make it right. No hoops to jump through—just straightforward, honest Midwestern service.

We offer a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

1. Return Eligibility & Condition

To be eligible for a return, your items must be in the same condition that you received them. This means:

  • Items must be unused, unwritten in, and in their original packaging.
  • All items from collections like Flashcards, Notebooks, Pen sets, and Measuring Tools must be complete and undamaged.
  • You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase (your order confirmation email).

2. How to Start a Return

We’ve made returns simple by using an automated portal:

  1. Visit our Return Center on our website.
  2. Enter your order number and email address to look up your purchase.
  3. Select the items you wish to return and follow the step-by-step instructions.

Please note: Items sent back to us without first requesting a return through our portal or contacting support will not be accepted.

3. Return Fees & Costs

To keep things completely fair, we provide a transparent, stress-free return process for all our customers:

  • Restocking Fees: $0.00 (We do not charge any restocking fees for returns).
  • Return Shipping Cost: We offer Free return shipping on all eligible returns. Regardless of the reason for your return—whether you received a defective item or simply changed your mind—Study Gear will cover 100% of the return shipping costs. We will provide a prepaid shipping label to ensure your return experience is as simple as possible.

4. Damages, Wrong Items, and Issues

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives at your doorstep. If something is broken, damaged, or if we accidentally packed the wrong item, please contact us immediately at support@studygear.store or open a ticket in our Return Center. Include a quick photo of the issue so our Akron team can investigate and send you a replacement right away.

5. Cancellation Policy

  • Timeframe: You may request to cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it, provided that the order has not yet been processed or fulfilled by our team.
  • How to Request: To request a cancellation, please email us at support@studygear.store or open a ticket in our Help Center with your order number as soon as possible.
  • Refunds: Once a cancellation is confirmed, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5 to 7 business days.

6. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned items at our facility, we will send you an email to notify you that we have approved or rejected your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed automatically, and a credit will be applied to your original method of payment within 5 to 7 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund to your account.
